Neurotechnology is a developer of high-precision algorithms and software based on deep neural networks and other AI-related technologies. The company was launched in 1990 in Vilnius, Lithuania, with the key idea of leveraging neural network capabilities for various applications, such as biometric person identification, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and artificial intelligence. The company's solutions and products have been used in more than 140 countries worldwide. As part of our team, you'll contribute to large-scale projects.



Position overview

We are looking for a skilled and knowledgeable software engineer. You would be working with our MegaMatcher flagship product line, which aims to provide the highest reliability and user experience. It has been successfully deployed in multiple countries helping to organize legitimate national elections, reliable border control, fair humanitarian aid delivery, unique national ID/passport and other governmental and enterprise solutions. MegaMatcher ABIS has become a part of the largest biometric program in the world – India's Aadhaar ID Program, which covers the whole population of India (1.3+ billion). Our biometric algorithms have been recognized by NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) and are among the top in the field performance-wise.



Required qualifications:

● Proficient in Java 17 development

● Solid understanding of the Spring Framework ecosystem

● Experience designing and implementing microservices architectures

● Practical experience with build automation tools (Maven or Gradle)

● Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker)

● Competent with version control systems (Git, particularly Github)

● Working knowledge of relational databases (MySQL and/or Oracle)



Nice to have:

● Experience with the cloud-native ecosystem, including container orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), and message queuing systems (Kafka)

● Familiarity with data-related technologies, such as search and analytics platforms (Elasticsearch), data visualization tools (Kibana), and data serialization formats (Protocol Buffers)

● Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus)
