Lithuanian Forensic Science Centre is looking for
Senior Specialist, applicant for the position of Forensic Expert in the Phonoscopic Examination Unit.
Salary coefficient - 1.05
Nature of work
- Carrying out tasks in accordance with the approved individual training plan: carrying out examinations of objects, drafting specialist reports or expert reports;
- preparing for the qualifying examination for the qualification of forensic expert in phonoscopic examinations;
- to deepen knowledge in the field of forensic science, to familiarise oneself with the legal regulation of expert examinations and the activities of the Lithuanian Forensic Expertise Centre;
- to plan and carry out scientific research, to systematise and analyse forensic information, and to contribute to the improvement of the institution's activities.
Specific requirements
- higher education in mathematics, computer science, physics, engineering, technology or humanities (linguistics, philology) (may be 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students);
- good computer literacy skills;
- ability to express oneself fluently in writing and orally;
- experience with audio recording and/or processing hardware and software;
- knowledge of Polish, Russian, Belarusian or Ukrainian would be an advantage.
